A distinguished group of Turkish and British artists, consisting of opera singers and pianists, offered an exclusive and unforgettable night of arias. The concert, titled Gallipoli Songs: Grief Speaks the Same Language, featured an engaging blend of Turkish and British sorrow songs written and composed upon unforgettable memories of Gallipoli Campaign in 1915.  Their extraordinary performance received a standing ovation from over 400 audiences at Kings Place.

The concert, which was held as part of a programme of activities commemorating the centenary of the Gallipoli Campaign, was organised by Turkish Culture and Information Office in London, Yunus Emre Institute, Turkish Embassy and The Gallipoli Association.
